I can see Shane and Coy really hitting it off, seeing as they're both the workaholic type and share similar personalities besides that as well. I think they should probably meet up sometime.

I think your dog and my dog will have a slow but eventually blooming friendship. They are both very centric around their owners. So much, that Enkidu hardly recognizes himself doing dog-like things. He is a seeing eye dog for a blind and sickly boy, so maybe Shane could recognize that there is something wrong with the boy and take interest? She will find that Enkidu is mild mannered and a peaceful dog so long as she doesn't approach Harper aggressively. Unfortunately, if she does, he will immediately become hostile without hesitation, and there will probably be a dogfight on the boys hands. But its not likely that will happen.
So in all, Shane and Enkidu can bond from their lack of doggie-bonding ability.

Hmm now that does sound very interesting, I definitely would like to see how that goes.
